London: Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge undated c1860. An early treatise on the wind systems of the world, wind and storm phenomena, and notes on wind measurement. No dust jacket, 16mo in brown paper boards with pressed designs on both covers, 77 useful line drawings and engravings, corners somewhat bumped, rear edge frayed through, rear hinge pulled, some age-darkening and a few pages stained from foreign matter but little foxing and all legible, binding tight.
