An updated series of essays by Mrs. Frances Fuller Victort on the history, climate, geography, and development of the two territories. No dust jacket, 8vo in blue cloth with design blind-stamped and titles and author gilt-stamped on front board (still bright), front hinge detached and rear hinge pulled (both tape mended), top 2 inches of inside front endpaper cut out, EX-LIBRARY usual stamps and labels but no pocket, 29 engravings, contents clean and tight, 412pp, overall Poor but a rather nice reading copy.

2 Montagu, Victor A. Middy's Recollections, A

London: Adam and Charles Black 1898, 1st printing. Rear-Adm.Montagu recalls the first seven years of his long career in the Royal Navy, which he deemed the 'most interesting.' No dust jacket, 8vo in lacquered black cloth with titles gilt-stamped on front board, owner's name on front endpaper o/w no marks, some pages uncut, edges untrimmed, shelf-worn and corners bumped but intact, overall a Good copy of a scarce personal account of navy life in the mid-1800s.

Philadelphia: Henry Altemus Company 1910. Subtitled: 'Dodging the Sharks of the Deep.' The fourth in Durham's series about youthful amateur submariners. No dust jacket (none issued), 12mo in olive cloth with pictorial front board in black and red, frontis and three text drawings, 251pp plus adverts, slightly canted but little shelf-wear, contents clean and tight with no marks, no foxing, overall a very nice copy of a pre-WWI juvenile submarine adventure, Good+.
