Being the notes of an eye-witness, which set forth in some detail, from day to day, the real story of the siege and sack of a distressed capital in 1900--the year of the great tribulation. No dust jacket, 8vo in red cloth with clear lacquer on spine and front board, occasional (knowledgeable) marginal notes in pencil, mis-bound with one signature bound in twice and one omitted (pages 81-96), reasonably tight, a nice reading copy of a flawed but unusual and a rather scarce first-hand account.
