No dust jackets, 8vos in original red cloth with blind-stamped decorative border, respined with portions of original spines retained, corners bumped and frayed, small dent in lower edges, tops slightly canted, personal library stamps and inscription on front endpapers o/w no marks, front hinge of Volume I pulled, Volume II tight, uneven foxing and some page warping due to age or binding (not moisture), Vol I ix,326,3, Vol II viii,303 and 8pp of adverts.
